TV now available on Sprint PCS cell phones

Sprint PCS launched today a new service called MobiTV, allowing users to view news clips and the latest music videos on select cell phones, including the Samsung VGA1000 and A600 and the Sanyo SCP-8100. The service costs $9.99 a month. A spokesperson of Sprint's partners in this venture even claims that TV viewing will be more popular than wireless web surfing on handsets. (source)
