Camera cell phones on their way to become the fastest-growing consumer technology
Tuesday November 18, 2003
We aren't close to stop discovering how camera cell phones are changing the cellular landscape. The USA Today has an article about how camera phone sales are going so well that the technology is "on pace to replace DVDs as the fastest-growing consumer technology device ever". It seems like more camera phones will have been sold this year (57 million) than digital cameras (44 million). In a similar news story, Motorola also announced today the launch of low-cost camera phones in Asia and Europe, some of which could be offered free by carriers.
