Why some prefer the train? For cell phones!
Thursday January 15, 2004
The New-York Times (NYT) has a very interesting article on how the railways, especially the Acela Express line between Boston and Washington, are becoming rolling offices. The trip sure takes more time than flying but, the big difference, claim businesspeople, is that they can conduct business and use cell phones as much as they wish. The NYT also evaluated the quality of service for various carriers to find out that signal is almost spotless all along the rail.
