Americans rate cell phones as the most hated invention

Cell phones surpass alarm clocks, TV sets and answering machines as the most hated invention. In a survey conducted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), 30% said they "rated the mobile phone the most maddening technological invention" while only 25% hated alarm clocks and 23%, the television. I would have liked to know how many of those who hate cell phones actually own one.
