After Bluejacking, Bluetooth phones are now at risk from Bluesnarfing

Monday February 9, 2004
You probably heard of Bluejacking, a method by which someone can send a message to your cell phone using the Bluetooth technology. Now, according to ZDnet, "A security flaw has been discovered in Bluetooth that lets an attacker download all contact details along with other information from a vulnerable phone, while leaving no trace of the attack." Apparently, some Sony Ericsson, Ericsson and Nokia phones are at risk, but those posing the greatest risk are the the Nokia 6310, 6310i, 8910 and 8910i models.
