Kid Phones? A Trend?

I certainly see a trend there: stripped down cell phones designed for kids or rather, for parents to buy for their kids. The Firefly Phone, or this other one announced yesterday, the TicTalk Phone, manufactured by Leapfrog, a company specializing in kid electronic games, have special parental control features. For example, kids can only call phone numbers pre-approved by parents and there are special keys for calling mom or dad. (Illustration: The TicTalk Phone)
