What Does The Sprint-Nextel Merger Hold For You?

Last week, Sprint and Nextel finalized their merger. The new company, Sprint-Nextel, will work towards integrating both groups of customers, in particular by launching phones that integrate both Sprint's CDMA and Nextel's iDEN technologies in the same handset, but "not before several years", they say. But there will be more to that merger, such as free transfers from Nextel to Sprint or vice-versa, and Sprint-Nextel has put together a FAQ for wireless customers.
