The Vise is Getting Tighter On BlackBerry. But a Blackout is Unlikely

Today, the Supreme Court turned down a request by BlackBerry to review a recent patent infringement ruling against its wireless email system. But analysts say a blackout of the Blackberry service in the United States is unlikely since the maker of Blackberry, Research in Motion, has a contingency plan involving a software update that would allow the service to remain active.
