Harlequin Novels Go Mobile: One Chapter-a-Day Delivered to Your Cell Phone

Wednesday April 26, 2006
Will Lara, the suave international reporter, surrender to the charms of Pablo, the mexican cow-boy with a glass eye? That may be the kind of suspense you will have to endure with a new service launching today: "Harlequin On The Go". For $2.49 a month (at least, it won't cost a fortune like so many other mobile services), your phone will receive one chapter a day of a serialized version of the famous Harlequin romance novels. Currently, only subscribers of Verizon may succumb to the passion but more carriers are expected to be added soon.
