Palm Treo 700 Available on Sprint This Month

The launch of a windows-based Treo 700 earlier this year left some fans with a broken heart: Treo devices have so far only been equipped with a Palm OS. A new version, the Treo 700p, will soon be offered on Verizon and Sprint. Sprint plans to offer it as soon as by the end of this month for around $400.

The new Treo 700p will be overpriced at the introductory price of “around $400″. Wait until it drops to $300 because that is the correct price point.
Except for the low speaker output level, I am very happy with my Treo 650. I may give the 650 to my son and upgrade to the 700 once the price drops.
