Cingular And Verizon Sued For Overbilling

Monday July 10, 2006
Overbilling is a pesky little habit of telecom companies and, in general: errors are generally to your disfavor. This was the case for a cingular customer who launched a class action lawsuit against cingular for fees billed to those who were AT&T Wireless customers when Cingular took over AT&T.

Other customers filed, claiming that Verizon added "Roadside assistance" to their bill without warning.
