Nokia Appoints 40 "Music Recommenders" - Godfathered By David Bowie

Live from Nokia Open Studio in New York City -- Nokia just announced the creation of a group of 40 influential "Music Recommenders" from key connoisseur music stores from around the world: Reckless Records in Chicago, Fat Beats in NYC and others will recommend new music in 12 genres for mobile enthusiast.

The group of experts will be godfathered by David Bowie, who will also contribute monthly podcasts and recommendations of his own. The Music Recommenders program is part of Nokia's broader effort to position the Nseries phones as portable multimedia computers... with phone features.
