Sony Ericsson Reportedly Working On A Phone Slimmer Than The RAZR And Others...

According to Reuters, Sony Ericsson is working on an ultra-slim candybar shaped phone dubbed "Ai" and much smaller than the Motorola RAZR. Sony Ericsson, which is thriving since it introduced the Walkman branded phones, recently surpassed LG by becoming the world's fourth cell phone manufacturer. Here is how recent slim phones measure up:
  • Sanyo Katana (Clamshell): 14.73 mm
  • Motorola RAZR (Clamshell): 14 mm
  • Samsung T509 (Bar): 10.16 mm
  • The Upcoming Sony Ericsson "Ai" (Bar): 9.44 millimeters
  • Samsung X820 (Bar): 6.9 mm
