25% Are Dissatisfied Or Hate Their Cell Phone Carrier!
Tuesday March 20, 2007
According to a poll conducted on the About.com website between March 9 and today, 25% of more than 700 respondents say they are not satisfied with their cell phone carriers, including 12% who even answered "I hate them!"
With the CTIA Wireless event taking place in Orlando just next week, the cell phone industry will explore ways to reduce customer dissatisfaciton, a high source of "churn", the term used to describe customers leaving for another carrier.
Of those who said they were dissatisfied, 56% said they didn't switch carriers because they were stuck in a contract. But it's just a matter of time...

Here in UK overcharging is common. If you complain they do not even respond.
Here in Puerto Rico the provider stores are always full. Better service by phone at least with SunCom. I had two big problems and I wrote directly to the company’s president. Good results! I don’t have complaints about my plan costs: only $29.99. Of course, taxes, 911 fees, etc…too much!
