New "Bluetooth 2.1" Will Increase Battery Life, Simplify Pairing

The upcoming Bluetooth version 2.1 should reduce the amount of energy required for Bluetooth communications between devices, thus increasing battery life. It will reduce the number of steps required to pair two Bluetooth devices.
