Cell Phones Hurting Sales Of Watches

Monday April 9, 2007
The cell-phone-watch rumors we've been hearing about for years, and the recent Bluetooth caller ID watches are not neglectable signs. Sales of watches are going down and one of the culprits are cell phones, says the Associated Press. The industry reacts by making hybrid products and shifting towards luxury watches... In other words, if they are not required anymore, let's make watches a fashion statement.

So what about you? Does owning a cell phone influence your desire to wear a watch? Take my poll: Would You Buy A Watch If You Did Not Always Carry A Cell Phone?

a) Yes, I'd buy a watch
b) I already have a watch AND a cell phone
c) I can't endure a watch on my wrist anyway
d) No, I still wouldn't buy a watch, even if I didn't have a cell phone
