Poll: Do You Think That The iPhone Will Be A Success Or A Failure?

Friday June 29, 2007
Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, believes Apple will sell 10 million iPhones in the next 18 months. If that happens, the iPhone will be the first PDA smartphone to sell that many units in such a short time.

Of course, the iPhone is great, but it is not perfect. Some point out the lower speed internet connectivity, the lack of voice dialing, a physical keypad and service plans starting at a minimum of $60 per month. But will the iPhone's large multi-touch display, thin and lovely design, visual mail and other features compensate for its weakenesses? I'll let you be the judge. So what do you think? Will the iPhone be a success or a failure?

a) Yes, the iPhone will be a huge success
b) After the current frenzy settles down, it will sell just like any other phone
c) No, the iPhone will be a lamentable failure
