The Motorola RAZR2 Arrives At The End Of August
After selling tens of millions of its iconic RAZR cell phone, Motorola announced the RAZR2 last spring and now it's soon-to-be available. AT&T, T-Mobile and Alltel will get it. Verizon says it will launch it in September and Sprint, on August 22 (online orders only).
The new RAZR looks quite similar but is wider -- yet thinner -- than its predecessor. According to a CNET review, call and music quality are very good but the display and video quality are below par. There will be various versions of the RAZR2 and one of them will be Linux-based. And according to FierceWireless, some analysts believe T-Mobile might be offering the Linux version.
