Visual Voicemail On The Edge Of Becoming The Next Big Trend
The iPhone innovated this year with "Visual Voicemail", a cell phone equivalent of email voicemail that lets you browse messages on your phone and listen to those of your choice only. And now it seems like they set the trend...
Recently, a software company launched a Java, BREW and Windows Mobile program that brings visual voicemail to most cell phones and even converts voice to text. And this week, Vodaphone, in Germany, announced that their handsets will also have a similar service called Visual Mailbox.
Here's an easy prediction: Visual voicemail will be a big trend through 2008 and will eventually become standard. Unless I'm totally over-enthusiast about visual voicemail. So what do you think?
