Boost Mobile is a mobile service provider offering pre-paid text, talk and web service to customers who don’t want to go through a credit check. One of the best things about services like Boost Mobile for parents is that your kids can’t use any more minutes that you pay for. Boost Mobile announced today that it has added a new handset to its service.

The MOTOKRZR handset is now available on the Boost Unlimited plan along with the Motorola c290, and w385. The MOTOKRZR with Boost Mobile has a MSRP of $249.99 and has a long list of features. Features of the handset include MP3 music player, 1.3MP camera with 4x digital zoom and video record function, Bluetooth, GPS, messaging, Wireless Web and Email capability and access to AOL, Yahoo and MSN messengers.

The MOTOSKRZR also include hands free speaker phone with voice activated dialing and a voice recorder. Memory can be expanded via MicroSD cards. The phone also has an application called “The Latest” that Boost says supplies users with the most useful and local information through the day. The Latest is free for the first seven days on the handsets and then costs $2.99 per month for the basic channels and $4.99 per month for premium channels.
