In some environments like sensitive corporate meetings and governmental buildings cell phones are prohibited due to the potential security breach they present. The problem is that with cell phones getting smaller every day it becomes difficult to prevent people from bringing cell phones into these types of locations.

A company called AirPatrol unveiled a new cell phone detection solution today called WiVision Enterprise. The product can detect and locate cellular phones and laptops using Wi-Fi or broadband cellular modems.

The goal is to prevent criminals and potential theft of data and sensitive materials with cell phones or notebooks. The company says that the service can also be used to help prevent bombs form being detonated by cellular phone remotes.
