Smartphones are one of the fastest growing segments of mobile phones and tend to be some of the most expensive devices you can get. At CTIA 2008 Motorola announced its new MOTO Q 9c smartphone and today Verizon Wireless announced it is now available for purchase.

The MOTO Q 9c retails for $249.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new 2-year agreement. The device runs on Windows Mobile 6 Standard and can access Documents To Go and some email accounts. The phone has a 2.4-inch screen with adaptive brightness and a full QWERTY keyboard. Other features include 128MB of on-board memory, stereo Bluetooth and voice-activated dialing.
