OrbLive Streams Live TV to the iPhone

iPhone users that are on the go a lot will like to hear that OrbLive has now made it possible to stream live TV to the iPhone. The device allows users to stream TV from their homes to the iPhone and the application allows the streaming of any video format to the iPhone.

The catch is that the OrbLive application can only be installed on a jailbroken iPhone or on the iPod touch. With the availability of the iPhone SDK you would think the application would turn up with full iPhone compatibility sooner or later. The streaming is done over Wi-Fi networks so it appears the EDGE network isn’t fast enough.
