For thousands of business professionals across the U.S. a day without their BlackBerry is a day without productivity. Anything that makes a mobile worker more efficient is a welcome addition to a company. Quickoffice announced today that it is now offering a BlackBerry version if its eOffice application.

The application allows all currently shipping BlackBerry devices to open, create, view and edit native Microsoft Office documents in their original format. The application works without the need for any server upgrades or for upgrades to the BlackBerry device.

Quickoffice works on BlackBerry devices connected via BlackBerry Enterprise Server and carrier-hosted BlackBerry Internet Service. The application is available in offline modes as well allowing the editing or creating of Office documents when not wirelessly connected or in airplane mode.
