For $350,000, which with you rather buy: a new house or a new... cell phone? Yes, there’s a cell phone that actually costs that much.

It’s from a company that has reversed today’s typical thinking of manufacturing the lowest-priced phones with the most feature-packed bang.

A Vertu is more like a fine Rolex watch. These cell phones are precision crafted with precious metals including platinum and gold and infused with fine gems including diamonds and rubies.

After you pick your tongue up off the floor from learning its price tag, what may surprise you the most about relatively unknown Vertu name is another very well-known brand that serves as its corporate parent.

So what is this Vertu all about and where do they come from? Also, what do they look like?
