Can a Non-Smartphone Have a Touch Screen? Yes: It’s the LG Vu TV

You needn’t make the leap from a cell phone to a smartphone (with a mobile operating system like Windows Mobile) to be able to touch a touch screen. You can touch the LG CU920 Vu TV all you want and you’ll never find any buttons.

Sound too good to be true to find a major, iPhone-like selling point in a cell phone? Perhaps.

While the Vu doubles as a TV phone just as much as it is a touch screen phone, this leap also proves to be its Achilles’ heel. When matched up against the mighty iPhone 3G and its Samsung Instinct rival, the Vu starts looking mighty feeble.

You’d think LG and AT&T would then slash its price in order to compete when it can’t on features. No dice. Learn why the LG CU920 Vu TV may or may not be for you and view a six-picture image gallery of the touch screen phone for AT&T.
