Share Your Story: What’s Your Favorite Cell Phone Plan?
Wednesday November 19, 2008
My last two blog posts have been hyper devoted to you. They’re your chance to tell the diverse community of About.com cell phones readers your very own story on a hot topic.
I recently invited you to share your story on what you view to be your best cell phone as part of a new holiday guide with my top five budget cell phones.
Today I focus on cell phone plans and ask you your favorite one. Are you a contract-based or no-contract kind of person? Do you like to pay in advance or a month later? What are the pros and cons of your current cell phone plans?
Don’t be shy, friend. I don’t bite and our readers really do listen and care. Share your very own cell phone plan story today!

In my opinion, prepaid is the only choice these days that makes sense from a plan perspective. Some of the best plans, however, don’t have the best phones or the best prices on phones (b/c they’re not subsidized), however, in terms of usage, you can get much better value on prepaid these days. Prepaid is no longer for just the credit challenged! Check this out to compare plans:
