The all-powerful Sidekick quick-messaging cell phone has a new rival. The Quickfire for AT&T is a valiant one, too.

But is it perfect for you?

While it’s a feature-rich handset that falls just under the $100 price barrier (with a catch), be careful about its battery, size and weight, touch screen (it’s less accurate and responsive than the all-powerful iPhone and Instinct) and its GPS situation. Also, it’s not for business customers.
