After writing about the unveiling of the Nokia BH-904 Bluetooth headset live from the 2009 International Consumer Electroncis Show (CES) in Las Vegas, he’s back again.

About.com GPS guide Fred Zahradnik has another wonder for the About.com cell phones blog that caught his eye: the rugged Motorola Tundra VA76r.
LAS VEGAS (CES) – I once “killed” a cell phone by carrying it in my bike jersey pocket while riding in a rainstorm. It was an expensive mistake.

That’s why I was very pleased to see the new Tundra VA76r cell phone Motorola introduced at CES.

While this ruggedized 3G clamshell isn’t completely waterproof, it’s highly water and dirt resistant.

It features a grippy, rubberized finish with subtle dimpling that looks cool in addition to being practical for its intended purpose.

The Tundra VA76r meets U.S. military specifications for dropping, dust, vibration, humidity, severe temperatures and rain.

The phone will be offered through AT&T for $199 with contract.
