While I’m snowed inside the blizzard currently pummeling Chicago, About.com GPS guide Fred Zahradnik is live and on the Las Vegas scene at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

In asking him to tune his antennae to some interesting cell phone unveilings, here’s one that caught his eye: the Nokia BH-904 Bluetooth headset.

The following text was written by About.com GPS guide Fred Zahradnik from CES for my About.com cell phones blog.
LAS VEGAS (CES) – Nokia introduced a new Bluetooth headset (the Nokia BH-904) here at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

It’s designed to do a better job of separating the user’s voice from ambient noise in mobile or public environments.

The headset also has the ability to maintain two active connections so you can simultaneously connect to a PC (i.e. for VoIP). It’s said to provide up to five hours of talk time after just 15 minutes of charging.

I liked its technical look. Also, Nokia is addressing a real problem with its ambient noise fix because these headsets tend to be used on the move. There’s no price or availability date yet.

Nokia also announced at CES the Nokia 1006, Nokia 7510 Supernova and Nokia E63 cell phones for North America, according to Fred Zahradnik.

Here’s my full review of a competing Bluetooth product from Motorola: the MOTOPURE H12.
