The handset maker, which is wholly owned by Kyocera Corporation and was formed in Feb. 2000, makes a wide array of cell phones for carriers such as U.S. Cellular and Virgin Mobile.
Its popular handsets include the Virgin Mobile X-tc for fast text messaging, the Kyocera Neo E1100 with the unique “breathing lightpipe” design and the ultra-low-priced Virgin Mobile TNT!.
