PlatinumTel is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), which means it doesn't have its own radio spectrum or network infrastructure.

Instead, PlatinumTel uses Sprint's network. The carrier has a prepaid and pay-as-you-go wireless offering that competes with the likes of Boost Mobile, Cricket and Virgin Mobile.

PlatinumTel features an unlimited voice and text messaging plan for $50 per month and a pay-as-you-go plan with minutes as low as 6.7 cents.

The carrier also has a hybrid plan with à-la-carte pricing for the mobile Web and texting, various packages for text messaging and a wide array of rates for international dialing.

All plans come with no contract. Learn about all of the prepaid wireless PlatinumTel plans in this compilation! You can also learn about plans at T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T.
