While AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless still focus on contract-based cell phone plans in exchange for subsidized handset prices, T-Mobile is increasingly strengthening its prepaid wireless offering.

T-Mobile on Oct. 25, 2009 released details on its long-rumored "Project Dark" in the form of new plans called "Even More" and "Even More Plus".

T-Mobile Even More plans require a two-year service contract and offer phone discounts. T-Mobile Even More Plus plans require no contract.

The Even More plans for individuals range from $39.99 a month with 500 anytime minutes to $59.99 a month with unlimited minutes.

Even More Plus plans for individuals range from $29.99 per month with 500 anytime minutes to $79.99 per month with unlimited voice minutes, texting and Web usage.

I’ve gone contract and I’ve gone Metro PCS and I find Straight Talk is the best deal I’ve had so far. I started with the $30 a month plan and upgraded to the $45 plan which gives me unlimited web and unlimited free 411 calls in addition to unlimited talk and texting. So far I’ve never had a dropped call. I guess that’s because Straight Talk runs on the Verizon network which is supposed to be rated the best.

I’m very happy with Straight Talk and am impressed with their coverage on Verizon.

To me, the $30 – 1,000 minutes, 1,000 texts deal is unbeatable. I travel and have never had a problem.

The unlimited pan is great too, but for me, the one I have is enough.

When I had Metro POS, it worked fine in town but as soon as I got outside the city, fuhgeddaboutit!

You get what you pay for, or in the case of Straight Talk, MORE than you pay for!

I have had straight talk and tmobile and att and sprint and virgin mobile and verizon prepaid phones. (my sprint phone was not prepaid) Due to my lost job, I had to give up straight talk and go to tmobile and “TRY” to not use my phone so much so as only to put $10 a month on it. I miss my straight talk service. I will hopefully be getting a new job soon, so that I can have straight talk service again. I was going to get a family plan on the even more plus plan with a friend, but, after having my tmobile phone for a few weeks active again, it sucks. I am constantly getting dropped calls no matter where I am in the USA, and with Straight Talk I never had that problem! I will say that I DONT like straight talks customer service not being 24 hours especially since I am a third-shifter and want to refill my account, I cant, but, the plans, and phones are great! I have the RAZR phone with straight talk, when I first bought it though, I did not have the option of getting their new touch screen, which I really want now! Best of luck to Straight Talk and their future endeavors, I really hope they are here to stick around, and that they dont raise their prices like Cricket did.
