Sprint in Sept. 2009 changed the cell phone game with its industry-first "Any Mobile, Anytime" feature.
While other carriers offer free and unlimited calling to five or 10 phone numbers, this feature from Sprint gives you unlimited calling to and from all cell phone numbers on any network. Calls to or from landline numbers, though, do not apply.
Calls to your own cell phone's voicemail, directory assistance, calls made or received while roaming, toll-free numbers, 900 numbers, international numbers and voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) numbers also do not apply.
Any Mobile, Anytime comes activated on Sprint's Everything Data plan for $69.99 with 450 anytime minutes or $89.99 with 900 anytime minutes. The feature does not come with Sprint's other plans (such as its Simply Everything plan for $99.99).
To switch from Simply Everything down to an Everything Data plan or up from an Everything Messaging plan for $49.99 or $69.99, this is the first question you'll likely need answered: How many minutes do you use to and from mobile phones versus landline phones?
Sprint doesn't itemize the answer for you. You'll either need to guess or manually do some number crunching through a few bills.
In order to fully accommodate customers using the unique feature, should Sprint add this kind of bill itemization so you can see how many minutes you're using to and from wireless phones versus wired phones? Chime in on our poll below!
