AT&T Retail Employees Told No Vacation June 15 to July 12
by Shane McGlaun
There is certainly no shortage of rumors on when the much anticipated 3G iPhone will hit shelves. In Europe many of the largest iPhone providers are now out of both the 8GB and 16GB versions and are saying no more units are coming.
An internal memo from AT&T has surfaced this week that says retail employees won’t be allowed to take vacations from June 15 to July 12 because of a “special summertime promotion.” The time frame meets up with the time frame for WWDC 08 on June 9th. It looks like all the rumors are adding up to the new 3G iPhone in a little more than a month.
