Cell Phones BlogBlackBerry 9000 Launching Next Weekby Shane McGlaun According to the Boy Genius Report RIM will be announcing its latest BlackBerry smartphone next week on May 12 at WES 2008. The launch of the BlackBerry 9000 is supposedly 100% confirmed. The phone is supposed to be on hand at the show for hands-on demos as well. The BlackBerry 9000 will be the first BlackBerry handset to get HSDPA, GPS and Wi-Fi in one device. The 9000 is also supposed to run an updated version of the BlackBerry operating system.
