How to Convert A Nokia Ringtone To Your Phone's Format
From your Cell Phones/Pagers Guide

Your cell phone can receive programmable ringtones but you just can't find any compatible ringtones on the Internet, or you can only find the one you want in the (very popular) Nokia format? Here is what to do.

Difficulty Level: Average    Time Required: 10 minutes

Here's How:
  1. Find out if your phone can indeed receive programmable ringtones, with that list.
  2. Search the web for a Nokia RTTTL/Nokring format string of the ringtone you want to convert. RTTTL ringtones are among the most widespread ringtones on the Internet.
  3. Make sure that the RTTTL/Nokring ringtone that you downloaded is compliant to the RTTTL format by clicking here for more on how to recognize genuine RTTTL ringtones.
  4. Go to Uniring - The Universal Ringtone Converter.
  5. Paste the RTTTL/Nokring ringtone in the large text box on that page. IMPORTANT: make sure that the string is continuous and not interupted by spaces or line feeds.
  6. Click on the format that you want.
  7. Follow the instructions shown on the page where the converter will get you on how to input the resulting ringtone in your phone or how to transfer it by SMS or other means.

Tips:

  1. Can't find enough Nokring/RTTTL ringtones? Top Sites Lists usually link to various sites offering such ringtones.
