"Very Convenient But Some Sound Issues"
Let's start with the good points: the CCM Navigator is just unbeatable when it comes to having a convenient device. Plug it in your car's cigarette lighter, then put your phone in it. It automatically powers on and you can dial numbers as if the phone was mounted fixed in your car. The sound comes out of a built-in speaker at the back with good, but not extraordinary sound quality and people hear you through a built-in microphone and that's where it gets worse...

Depending on your car's sound . My old Hyundai is a noisy and driving it in Montreal's pot-hole-filled streets produced so much noise that I got many complains from friend who could hardly hear me so I had to almost yell... but then they could hear me. That's the trade off with speakerphones: there are no wires, but you have to yell.

You can buy an optional external wired microphone but in my tests, I only a small improvement. According to me, a better solution would be to use the Navigator on a full handsfree and wire free mode when talking to relatives and friends who can tolerate the bad sound quality but simply use a wired headset device in conjunction with the Navigator (who serves as a holster and charger) when talking to business contacts.
