"The Sequel"
Here is the successor of the SCH-3500, an incredibly popular phone of the last two years, of which Samsung sold over 5 million units - which isn't hard to believe given how often I've seen people with that phone.

The N200 is an improved 3500 with these add-ons: a navigation button for quick access to menu items, a quite welcome smaller and lighter design, and a larger screen. It also features predictive text input, some "organizer" functions and custom ringtones, but there doesn't seem to be any way for users to upload them directly: Sprint PCS will be the one offering that (paid) service at un undisclosed date - so don't buy this phone if your dream is to have a personalized ringtone.

The down side of this phone, however, is it is not an utterly "cool" phone like the Nokia 8200 or 3300 series: according to me, Samsung has done much better in terms of design with some of its European phones. But if all you want is functionality, here is certainly a feature-rich handset that gets the job done and won't let you down. A friend of mine dropped his SCH-3500 (the ancestor) numerous times and it's still working. I'm pretty sure the N200 is a "safe choice".
