Which formats are used by the other brands of phones, like Samsung, Ericsson or Siemens?

They use proprietary formats. Refer to your user's manual for the proper method for entering ringtones with these phones. If you don't have access to your manual, visit the manufacturers' page where you can find links to their web sites. Most manufacturers actually offer web-based versions of their owner's manuals on their web site for free.
