Review Title: Kyocera kx424 usability rating: good (by TRISH) - 08/15/2006

  • - Sound Quality
  • - Ringtone Volume
  • - Strength of Signal Reception
  • - Keypad

Pros: Great sound, great receptions, great signal availability!
Cons: keyboard is hard to read, and not finger friendly, too smal and flat.
Additional Comments: It is a great phone, never had a call drop, or any signal problems, but I find that in texting the keypads are so flat that it's hard to use, also lettering is very hard to read in certain situations, maybe if they were lit up or neon?

  • Review Title: Some people are hard to please! (by shane) - 03/22/2006

    Ratings for the following topics:
  • - Sound Quality
  • - Ringtone Volume
  • - Strength of Signal Reception
  • - Keypad
  • - Display
  • - Selection of Features
  • - Text Messaging

Pros: Clear sound, long battery life, does what a phone should.
    Cons: Small key size.
Additional Comments: Tuff little phone, I work in extreme outdoor conditions, My kyocera blade has been dropped, dropped in the mud, its gotten wet, and it's always worked. I really don't understand how this phone gets a bad rap. It picks up signal better than any Nokia or Motorola I ever had. Where my other phones would only have a few bars inside my home, the Kyocera blade had full signal.
