Review Title: The Question is...Q great? (by UCB) - 07/02/2006
Ratings for the following topics:
- Sound Quality
- Speakerphone
- Ringtone Volume
- Strength of Signal Reception
- Keypad
- Display
- Selection of Features
- Text Messaging
- Camera
Pros: excellent call reception, sound quality is near land line/better, keyboard good size, display awesome, great overall size (thin & not too wide), nice camera, text msg ability, internet fast
Cons: the OS, no touch screen, calendar featureless, diffcult email interface, package price too high
Additional Comments: As my first smartphone, The Moto Q is filling the bill nicely. I was looking for a phone that I could use a calendar with, check email and on occasion get on the internet to get driving directions, etc. and it is doing a fabulous job. The OS stinks and is a bit awkward to use. I find myself not using the scroll wheel on the side although ppl who use blackberrys would feel comfortable using it. Smart text is beginning to get on my nerves and has been shut off. Call quality is outstanding-even in rural areas. It is worth getting if you need the features, however, the pricing plan is very expensive.
