Average OVERALL Rating for the Samsung v200:
Review Title: One of the best phones I've ever had (by Klouri) - 10/31/2006
Ratings for the following topics:
- Sound Quality - Ringtone Volume - Strength of Signal Reception - Keypad - Display - Selection of Features - Text Messaging - Camera
Pros: Feels great in the hand, opens nicely, great display, ease of use keypad, swivel camera
Cons: The headset didn't work properly and no speakerphone. Other than this, it was the best phone I've ever had.
Additional Comments: This phone was given to me by a friend after one of my others broke. It had been used about a year but still in great condition. I wasn't really interested in a camera phone. Well.. once I got the hang of it, I LOVED the feature adn the feel of this little phone in my hand. The display was great, the sound above average. This is the only cell phone I've used (and I use on average, 100 minutes/day) that didn't heat up with constant use and give me headache. It took quite a few beatings (I have two boys) and lasted just about 2 years with daily use and finally was dropped just a few feet and the hinge gave out. I was determined to keep it, so I superglued it and it lasted another few weeks. Now I am searching for another one because I like it so well. I could use a speakerphone but am willing to forego that feature for all the other positives of this phone. It was a great phone while it lasted. I wish this phone was still available.
