Review Title: Samsung A950 Call log issues (by Liz) - 01/04/2007

    Ratings for the following topics:
  • - Sound Quality
  • - Speakerphone
  • - Ringtone Volume
  • - Strength of Signal Reception
  • - Keypad
  • - Display
  • - Selection of Features
  • - Text Messaging
  • - Camera

Pros: Nice sound, excellent display, easy to use
Cons: difficult to hear someone talking on speakerphone
Additional Comments: I bought this phone in June and starting in Jan 2007 the phone would not log incoming, dialed, recent, or missed calls. When I clicked on these functions a message said "no missed calls" and so on. The date, time, and a phone number would show up on the screen notifying a missed call. When I clicked on detail it again said "no missed calls". The cell phone company sent the phone to be repaired. Hopefully the prob is fixed.

  • Review Title: I wouldn't buy another one (by User Name Withheld) - 10/22/2006

  • - Sound Quality
  • - Speakerphone
  • - Ringtone Volume

Pros: It works most of the time
Cons: Sound without earbuds sucks, battery life sucks, ringtones sucks
Additional Comments: On my third battery. Verizon will not replace phone even with poor reception and even poorer battery life. Fully charged then talk 15 minutes and I am down to half on battery life. Looking for something else, as this thing just won't do in my line of work.

  • Review Title: If you make your own ringtones READ THIS (by vinyl junkie) - 09/14/2006

  • - Sound Quality
  • - Speakerphone
  • - Ringtone Volume
  • - Strength of Signal Reception

Pros: Takes a nice pic at top resolution,better-than-average customization options.
    Cons: It's a bit bulky
Additional Comments: This is a good phone, all flashy and everything, but it's apparently impossible to effectively send ringtones to this phone (illegal, maybe, but mainstream music ringtones don't satisfy everyone). That bugs me nearly enough to just go back to my Samsung A670.
