  • Review Title: The best phone in its price range (by Ibrahim Mohammad) - 10/19/2005

  • - Sound Quality
  • - Speakerphone
  • - Ringtone Volume
  • - Strength of Signal Reception
  • - Keypad

  • - Text Messaging

Pros: friendly user interface, small size, low cost, nice sound
Cons: small screen, screen not bright as other models
Additional Comments: The phone is pretty good for a normal user and particularly suitable for kids and teens. 12MB memory is enough for pictures and applications, however the mp3 player of the phone is pretty much useless due to this limitation. It is nice that you can have your favorite song as the ringtone. Its J2ME capabilities are pretty good. "My friends" can be used for chatting. It is not good to see that it does not have bluetooth even when the similar older SonyEricsson phones T610 and T630 had it. However it does have infrared which can be used for transfering files and contacts.

  • Review Title: Reception not so great (by Seth) - 09/14/2005

  • - Sound Quality
  • - Speakerphone
  • - Ringtone Volume
  • - Strength of Signal Reception
  • - Keypad
  • - Display

  • - Text Messaging

Pros: Nice feature set, fast interface, nice looking interface, well thought controls and functions, awesome battery life, when reception is available very clear sounding
Cons: BAD reception, camera is not so good, ringer is not very loud
Additional Comments: The interface and features are GREAT, but the reception is very unpleasing. It drops calls ALL THE TIME, and I dont have any signal at all in areas where (with my Nokia 3660, same carrier and plan) I used to have lots of signal. While driving, my call is most certainly dropped once or twice. That almost never happened with my 3660. The camera on my 3660 was better. On the plus side of things, it is so small and lightweight that sometime I think I forgot to bring it with me, but it's in my pocket. It's battery life is simply amazing (as compared to the 3660), I can go for days and days without charging it.
