The Good:

  1. Technology: The Nokia 6270 works with worldwide frequencies of the GSM standard , a convenient feature if you travel overseas frequently. (Roaming charges from your home carrier generally apply) (score: 7/7)
  2. Talk Time: 300 minutes of talking time. It is excellent! (score: 20/20)
  3. Stand-by Time: A stand-by time of 200 hours. It is quite good! (score: 16/20)
  4. Phone Book: It can store a variable number of phone book entries. This is normally the case of phones with a dynamic memory and, it generally allows for a lot of phone numbers to be stored. (score: 20/20)
  5. Memory Expansion Slot: It has a memory expansion slot MiniSD, a useful way to store more music and pictures or transfer them from and to your laptop computer. (score: 10/10)
  6. Speakerphone: It has a speakerphone, which can prove useful in a car or in other situations. (score: 10/10)
  7. Wireless Data System: Bluetooth-enabled, which is an interesting plus. Bluetooth is not really necessary but may be handy if you want to use a wireless headset or transfer data to or from your (Bluetooth-enabled) laptop, for instance. (score: 7/7)
  8. Camera: It features an advanced camera: 2 megapixel (score: 10/10)
  9. Push-to-Talk (PTT): The Nokia 6270 supports Push-to-talk (PTT), a technology that allows you to instantly talk to other people owning a PTT phone on the same network, just by the push of a button, as with a walkie-talkie. (score: 7/7)

The Not-So-Good:

  1. Weight: 4.40 oz of weight is slithtly above average. You may find that phone slightly too big. (score: 4/20)
