The Nokia N91

This technical Nokia N91 review is based on a computer analysis of the cell phone's technical specifications, it is in no way an actual hands-on review. It lists its pros and cons so you can make a well-informed decision.

Also take a look at my user reviews of the Nokia N91.

The Good:

  1. Technology: The Nokia N91 is compatible with worldwide GSM frequencies , a convenient feature if you travel overseas frequently. (Note that additional roaming charges from your home carrier generally apply) (score: 7/7)
  2. Talk Time: 240 minutes of talking time. It is quite good! (score: 16/20)
  3. Phone Book: It can store a variable number of phone book entries. This is usually the case of phones with a dynamic memory and, it usually allows for a lot of phone numbers to be stored. (score: 20/20)
  4. Speakerphone: It has a speakerphone, which will prove useful in a car or in other situations. (score: 10/10)
  5. Wireless Data System: Bluetooth-enabled, which is an interesting plus. Bluetooth is not really necessary but may be handy if you want to use a wireless headset or transfer data to or from your (Bluetooth-enabled) laptop, for instance. (score: 7/7)
  6. Camera: It has an advanced camera: 2 megapixel (score: 10/10)

The Average:

  1. Stand-by Time: A stand-by time of 190 hours. It is about average. (score: 12/20)

The Not-So-Good:

  1. Weight: 5.78 oz of the Nokia N91 is a lot of weight. Whether you carry it in your pants pocket or a purse, you could find it heavy. (score: 0/20)

Overall Score: 86
