The HTC 6800

The following technical HTC 6800 review is based on an algorithm that takes a close look at a phone's specifications, it is in no way a hands-on review. It looks at its good and not-so-good sides to help you make a well-informed decision.

The Good:

  1. Phone Book: It can store a variable number of phone book entries. This is generally the case of phones with a dynamic memory and, it usually allows for a lot of phone numbers to be stored. (score: 20/20)
  2. Memory Expansion Slot: It features a memory expansion slot MicroSD, a useful way to store more music and pictures or transfer them from and to your laptop computer. (score: 10/10)
  3. Speakerphone: It has a speakerphone, which can prove useful in a car or in other situations. (score: 10/10)
  4. Full Keyboard: It has a full keyboard. It helps not only when typing text messages but also when browsing the wireless web and adding new phone book entries. (score: 7/7)
  5. Wireless Data System: Bluetooth-enabled, which is an interesting plus. Bluetooth is not really necessary but may be handy if you want to use a wireless headset or transfer data to or from your (Bluetooth-enabled) laptop, for instance. (score: 7/7)

The Not-So-Good:

  1. Weight: 5.82 ounces of the HTC 6800 is a lot of weight. Whether you carry it in your pants pocket or a purse, you might find it heavy. (score: 0/20)
  2. Talk Time: A talk time of 0 minutes. Not quite sufficient for most users, in my opinion. (Find phones with more battery life) (score: 4/20)
  3. Stand-by Time: A stand-by time of hours. Not quite sufficient for most users, in my opinion. (score: 4/20)
  4. Camera: The 2.0 Megapixel built-in camera is minimal. Useful, but you won't win photography contests with it. (score: 3/10)

Overall Score: 69
