If you are an advanced Twitter user and like to cross-post to Facebook or use Twitter's geolocation features, RIM's native Twitter app will not suit your needs. UberTwitter 1.0 was released today, and has added new features that will satiate even the most finicky Twitter users.
We previously reviewed UberTwitter, and were impressed by its features, responsiveness, and its easy-to-use interface. After 18 months of beta testing, UberTwitter has been officially released with even more useful features.
- Rich Facebook Posting: You can post directly to Facebook and Twitter simultaneously, and pictures and location information appear in your Facebook stream as rich media previews.
- Bit.ly Pro Access: You can now track your shortened URLs with your Bit.ly Pro account.
- Dismissable Ads: Previous versions had an ad at the top of the screen. Version 1.0 has ads at both the top and bottom of the screen, but the ad at the bottom of the screen can be dismissed to make more space on the screen.
