Carrier Information:

Consumer Cellular is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), which means it does not have its own network infrastructure and licensed radio spectrum. Instead, Consumer Cellular buys minutes wholesale from AT&T and sells them to you retail.

While Consumer Cellular prepaid wireless can work for anyone, the plans and phones are targeted at seniors. Consumer Cellular, which competes with all of the prepaid wireless carriers, most closely rivals Jitterbug due to the focus on seniors by both carriers.
